Phytec, Vision Components Partner to Streamline Imaging Solution Offerings

Phytec and Vision Components (VC) have agreed to collaborate on the integration of cameras into embedded systems. The partnership enables users to operate all of VC's 50+ mobile industry processor interface (MIPI) cameras with Phytec's embedded imaging processor boards. The corresponding drivers are already included in the Linux BSP of the Phytec modules.

As a first result, the companies will present the Phytec phyBOARD-Pollux Embedded Imaging Kit with NXP i.MX 8M Plus processor and VC MIPI IMX900 color camera at the Embedded World Conference next month. The kit is expected to be available in the near future via the sales channels of both companies.
