Photoneo, Neousys Partner on 3D Vision-Guided Robotics
Photoneo has partnered with Neousys, a provider of rugged embedded systems, to bring together high-performance computing systems with advanced 3D imaging solutions. The partnership seeks to develop systems focused on advancing machine vision and automation.
According to the companies, the partnership will specifically offer a comprehensive pre-integrated solution that allows for seamless integration with existing infrastructure. The solution combines Photoneo’s 3D scanners with Neousys’ embedded systems to allow customers to deploy 3D imaging systems in challenging conditions.
Beyond hardware integration, the partnership will integrate advanced 3D robotic intelligence software Neousys’ infrastructure, using both companies’ technological capabilities. This software will enable robots to perceive and interact with their surroundings more intelligently, the companies said.
