Yaskawa, Fizyr Collaborate on Vision AI for Industrial Applications
Yaskawa, a supplier of automation solutions, has partnered with AI vision company Fizyr to facilitate the implementation of robotic automation that relies on AI-based computer vision. The partners will specifically target warehouse logistics, focusing on item picking, automatic parcel sorting, palletizing, depalletizing, and trailer unloading of objects of varying sizes and shapes.
The partnership extends to European markets and will be facilitated through Yaskawa’s European subsidiary, YASKAWA Nordic AB.
For integrators working with warehouse logistics, Yaskawa said, the cooperation will serve to simplify the process of implementing robots with computer vision. Training and support will be provided for robots and software during the process of robot system design, installation, and final operation.
