MVTec Establishes Taiwanese Subsidiary

MVTec has established a subsidiary in Hsinchu, Taiwan. MVTec Taiwan Co., Ltd., will primarily focus on the semiconductor industry, the parent company said, and will house MVTec's previously established sales office, which is relocating from Taichung, Taiwan.

MVTec added that it plans to expand the number of employees at the subsidiary over the next few years. Martin Krumey, vice president of sales at MVTec, cited Taiwan as a strategically important market for machine vision software development.
