PI Transitions Sales Head; TOPTICA Adds Sales Director for France: People in the News: 1/3/2024

Physik Instrumente (PI) appointed Laurent Melin senior vice president of global sales. Melin, who previously served as director of sales EMEA for the company, succeeds chief sales officer Stephane Bussa. Erik Reichardt, who will retain his role as managing director of PI BeNeLux, will assume the position of director of sales EMEA.

PESSAC, France — TOPTICA Photonics SAS, TOPTICA’s French subsidiary, named Vincent Aubertin sales director for France. Aubertin formerly held the position of sales director at TOPTICA’s partner Opton Laser International, which handled TOPTICA's sales and services in France.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Laser Photonics Corporation named Kevin Ploche principal financial and accounting officer following CFO Jade Barnwell's resignation. Ploche serves as comptroller for Laser Photonics affiliate, Fonon Corporation, and will serve in the newly filled role on an interim basis.
