Visual Components Launches Joint Venture with Mitsubishi Electric

3D manufacturing technology company Visual Components has formed a joint venture with longtime collaborator Mitsubishi Electric. The venture, called ME Industrial Simulation Software, seeks to amplify the functionalities of the 3D simulator MELSOFT Gemini digital twin platform. The simulator, previously a product of Mitsubishi Electric, technology from Visual Components and enables the simulation of manufacturing processes to accelerate the process from product planning to commercialization.

According to the companies, ME Industrial Simulation Software will handle the development and sale of MELSOFT Gemini and future 3D simulator products.
