Pascale Nini, who will transition to executive chairwoman. Van Maercke held the same position at Silex in 2018 and was executive director at Trimble Transport & Logistics from 2010 to 2019.

Kevin Granucci as vice president of sales and marketing. Granucci has had experience with semiconductors and fiber optics, most recently holding the position of chief revenue officer at Photonic Inc. as well as a variety of commercial roles for Hitachi Semiconductor, Opnext, and Oclaro.

GREENBELT, Md. — The Astronomical Society of the Pacific has recognized
Marcia Rieke as its 2023 recipient of the Catherine Wolfe Bruce Gold Medal for research focused on infrared observations of the center of the Milky Way and high-redshift galaxies in the early universe. Rieke served as deputy principal investigator for the near infrared camera and multi-object spectrometer on NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope and co-investigator for the multiband imaging photometer on NASA’s retired Spitzer Space Telescope.

Phil Daniell to the position of vice president of ASIC engineering. Daniell has had experience with silicon ASIC engineering stretching back 25 years.
SEATTLE — Know Labs Inc., an emerging developer of noninvasive medical diagnostic technology, has appointed
John Cronin,
Larry Ellingson, and
Tim Londergan to its board of directors. Ellingson has been a member of Know’s medical advisory board for the past four years, while Cronin and Londergan are both the founder and CEO of ipCapital Group and Tangibly, respectively.

David Wurtz as regional director of sales for aviation in the North American market. Wurtz has a background in both market knowledge and manufacturing, most recently working in airport and transportation sales at Xovis and Amadeus.
