Viavi Appoints CFO; Instrument Systems Korea Shuffles Management Group: People in the News: 10/25/2023

Viavi Solutions Inc. appointed Ilan Daskal executive vice president and CFO, effective Nov. 7. Daskal previously held the same positions at Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc. and Rectifier Corp.

MUNICH — Instrument Systems' Korea-based subsidiary appointed Jaeho Choi managing director, succeeding Jin Sung Kim. Choi, with company CFO Jürgen Tiepermann and CEO Markus Ehbrecht, will form a new board of directors. Choi previously served as managing director for IGS Inc. after starting his career as an engineer in SKC’s R&D department.

LONDON — AI processor developer Lumai appointed Phillip Burr product management leader. Burr most recently held the same role at indie Semiconductor, and he previously served as senior director at Arm and product marketing director at Mentor Graphics (now part of Siemens).
