UK Firm Picks Coherent for Laser Hair Removal

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 17 -- Coherent Inc.'s LightSheer hair removal products have been chosen by Boots The Chemists plc., a retailer of health and beauty products based in England. Boots will test the devices at seven of its stores throughout the UK and, if successful, offer laser hair removal services at more than 200 of its stores within the next few years using Coherent's products.
The long-term effectiveness of laser hair removal will allow us to offer our customers the satisfaction that they expect from Boots, said Zoe Morgan, director of marketing for Boots. Boots will use the state of the art LightSheer laser technology, operated by trained and qualified medical professionals, to offer this highly effective treatment for unwanted hair.
