Nuera Receives Investmentfrom AT&T Strategic Ventures

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 16 -- Nuera Communications' recent $28.5 million round of funding saw a $10 million investment from AT&T Strategic Ventures. AT&T Broadband and AT&T Wireless have entered a strategic relationship with Nuera in which the companies will exchange technology.
Strategic relationships with carriers like AT&T are what set companies apart in today's competitive landscape, said Nuera CEO Bill Ingram. Our mission is to deliver voice over IP via cable and fixed wireless infrastructures to help carriers implement revenue-generating services.
Nuera Communications provides Internet protocol voice infrastructure solutions and develops packet-voice telephony solutions for carriers around the world.
