RGo Robotics Forecasts Growth as Company Adds to Leadership Team
Artificial perception technology developer RGo Robotics has named four members to its leadership team, including a dual appointee who will serve as the company’s chief business officer (CBO) and president. The company appointed Yael Fainaro CBO and president; Mathieu Goy head of European sales; Yasuaki Mori executive consultant, APAC market development; and Amy Villeneuve as a member of the board of directors.
RGo is establishing an initial presence in Japan this year, with growth in South Korea planned for late 2023. Mathieu Goy, who is based in Paris, and Yasuaki Mori, based in Tokyo, hold extensive sales experience in the European and APAC markets.
The company, whose offerings deliver vision-based localization capabilities that enable robot perception in industrial and other challenging environments, also said its plans to release the next iteration of its Perception Engine intelligent vision and artificial intelligence system this quarter. Enhancements to the software include indoor-outdoor mode for mobile robot navigation; high-precision mode, enabling millimeter-scale precision for docking and similar use cases; and a redesigned configuration and administration interface.
