North America’s largest automation trade show, Automate, will return May 22-25 in Detroit to feature the latest advancements in robotics, vision, artificial intelligence, motion control, and more. Organized by A3, the Association for Advancing Automation, the four-day conference located at the Huntington Place Convention Center showcases cutting-edge manufacturing automation technology, this year from more than 600 exhibitors.

Automate 2023 will be the largest exhibition to date, featuring 300,000 sq ft of exhibit space.

“Over 20,000 people from around the world will come together at Automate to demonstrate what’s possible in automation today and in the future,” said Jeff Burnstein, president of A3.

The conference will feature more than 150 talks from industry professionals, whose presentations will provide updates on the latest trends and challenges faced by the industry today. Attendees can expect talks on topics such as autonomous mobile robots, 3D imaging methods, factory automation strategies, integration, cloud-based automation, and more.

Conference attendees can also register for the Certified Vision Professional and Motion Control Professional training programs, where they can earn certifications.

Each day will feature keynote speakers, such as Tom Izzo, the head coach of Michigan State University’s men’s basketball program; Gregory Robinson, former director of the James Webb Space Telescope; and Daniela Rus, professor of electrical engineering and computer science, as well as director of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at MIT.
