Gigaphoton Plans to Expand Training Capability
Gigaphoton Inc., a manufacturer of light sources for semiconductor lithography, will expand its training capability. The company added a training center in Tainan and Taichung, Taiwan, and said that it now has training lasers installed at all four service locations in that country. In addition, Gigaphoton said it added training lasers in the U.S., Singapore, and China, and has expanded its training center. Gigaphoton plans to expand its training facilities in each region to double the number of training lasers and trainers worldwide in fiscal year 2025 compared to fiscal year 2020.
After increasing its production capacity for excimer lasers by 2.5 through the construction of a new building last year, Gigaphoton has now added training lasers in the U.S., Singapore, and China. The installations expand its training capability. Courtesy of Gigaphoton.
Last year, Gigaphoton launched a Fabscape trial program for developers to provide free access to various developer tools for the open platform, which aims to streamline equipment monitoring and analytics for the global semiconductor industry. The company also expanded its production capacity for excimer lasers by a factor of 2.5 to respond to an increase in market demand.
