BERLIN, Germany — Diode laser components manufacturer Lumics appointed
Beate Sauter and
Dennis George CEOs under a dual leadership structure. Sauter joined Lumics in 2013 and has more than 23 years of international management experience in the laser and photonics industry. She held senior management positions at photonics companies including Intense and Toptica Photonics. Sauter also serves as mentor within the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC) Photonics Mentorship program. She will continue to serve as vice president of sales and marketing. George has served for more than three years with the Berlin.Industrial.Group as finance manager, where he was the portfolio manager for Lumics.

Paul Boudre, former CEO of Soitec, chairman of its board of directors. Boudre was the CEO of Soitec from 2015 to July 2022. He has been a member of UnitySC’s board since 2017, and a member of the board of of its parent company, Fogale Nanotech.

Brian White to its board of directors effective immediately. White has over 29 years of experience in the semiconductor and high-tech industries. He serves as the CFO for semiconductor company Ambarella Inc. and has previously held positions at Maxim Integrated, Integrated Device Technology Inc., IDT, Nvidia, Hitachi GST, IBM, and Deloitte.

Michael Wu area sales managers for the Asia Pacific region. Wu served as sales and distribution manager for Asia at Ellex Medical, a maker of ophthalmic laser and ultrasound systems. Teo served as clinical product manager for the Asia Pacific region at Topcon Medical Laser Systems/OptiMedica.

Josef May, who served in the position for 15 years. May also resigned from his position as consumer optics chairman after serving for 17 years. SPECTARIS is the German industry association for the high-tech medium-size business sector and representative body in the areas of medical technology, consumer optics, analytical, bio and laboratory technology, and photonics.
