Rockley Photonics named
Richard Kuntz to its board as an independent director. Kuntz is senior vice president and chief medical and scientific officer at Medtronic. He was the founder and chief scientific officer of the Harvard Clinical Research Institute. Kuntz also served as an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, where he held the position of chief of the division of clinical biometrics and was an interventional cardiologist.
CAMBRIDGE, England — Photonic materials technology company CamGraPhIC will add
Michael Rake to its board of directors by the end of the year, the company said. Rake currently advises the company on an informal basis. Rake is the former chair of BT Group plc. CamGraPhIC, a developer of graphene-based photonics technology for scalable, faster, and cheaper optical transceivers, recently raised £1.26 million ($1.5 million) through an equity funding round.
AUGSBURG, Germany — 3D scanning technology company Scoobe3D added
Oscar Meza as vice president of sales. Meza served as chief commercial officer at Scantech, a developer of 3D scanning and inspection technologies. Meza held other senior officer positions at companies including FARO Technologies, Creaform, Shining3D, and MELTIO (DirectedMetal3D).
