Lightmatter Appoints Ritesh Jain VP of Engineering: People in the News: 08/03/22

Optical computing company Lightmatter has appointed Ritesh Jain as vice president of engineering. This follows the recent appointments of Jessie Zhang as vice president of finance and Steve Klinger as vice president of products. Jain joins Lightmatter after more than 21 years at Intel leading systems and packaging engineering for data center programs. Most recently, Jain served as vice president of Intel’s Data Center and Artificial Intelligence group.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Laser Photonics appointed Timothy Schick as vice president of finance. Schick also serves as principal financial officer and principal accounting officer. Schick previously served as head of finance at Jupiter Marine International, prior to which he served as director of financial planning and analysis at Everglades Boats.

OBERKOCHEN, Germany — Georg von Erffa was appointed as head of corporate human resources of the ZEISS Group. He succeeds Susan-Stefanie Breitkopf, who was appointed as chief transformation officer on the executive board of Carl Zeiss AG. Erffa previously served as head of human resources of the ZEISS Consumer Markets segment. Additionally, Arlett Hesse will serve as head of corporate human resources Germany. Hesse has been head of the corporate centers, service centers, and the shared production unit as head of human resources at the Oberkochen, Jena, and Munich sites.

NATICK, Mass. — Biophotonics company DYSIS Medical appointed Chris Arnold as chief commercial officer. Arnold has more than 20 years of medical device experience, most recently serving as vice president of sales at Z-Medica (acquired by Teleflex).

IRVINE, Calif. — Infinite Electronics, a supplier of electronic and telecommunications components, added David Collier as chief operating officer and Alexander Arrieta as chief human resource officer. Collier has more than 20 years of global operations experience at companies including POOLCORP, Arrow Electronics, MSC Industrial Supply, and Advance Auto Parts. Arrieta joins Infinite Electronics from Discovery Land Co. He has more than 20 years of human resources experience, serving at companies including United Pacific, S&P Global, and Disney Consumer Products.

MONTREAL — 5N Plus, a materials technology company, appointed Roland Dubois as chief commercial officer, effective Sept. 1. Dubois has more than 30 years of experience in B2B sales, marketing, and commercial strategy. He joins from ABB where he served as vice president and group head of sustainability.

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Lidar technology company Cepton named Liqun Han as COO. Han previously served as vice president of operations. In his new role he will continue to lead Cepton’s ADAS lidar program. Prior to Cepton, Han was director of engineering and technology at KLA-Tencor.
