MoviTHERM Opens NDT Lab: Vision Briefs

IRVINE, Calif. — Thermographic technology company MoviTHERM opened a nondestructive testing (NDT) lab to provide in-house studies to customers to determine the optimal inspection and testing modality for specific applications. The lab is equipped with FLIR (Teledyne FLIR) infrared cameras and excitation. NDT techniques available in the lab include lock-in, pulse, transient, and vibro thermography.

MUNICH — Optical technology company Instrument Systems acquired display measurement system manufacturer Kimsoptec. The acquisition aims to support the Konica Minolta Sensing Group’s expansion into the sensing and display measurement markets in Asia.

JERUSALEM — Software-based image signal processor (ISP) technology developer Visionary.ai earned a $1 million investment as the winner of THE ROADSHOW startup competition. The competition, organized by Together Investments and Tel Aviv-based television Channel 13, involved 300 startups, each established with at least $5 million of funding.

KASTRUP, Denmark — Kassow Robots, a developer of 7-axis cobots, partnered with Industrial Control, a factory automation distribution specialist. The partnership serves to enhance Kassow Robots’ reach into the U.S. automation market.
