JENA, Germany — Jenoptik named Ivan Cardenas automation sales manager for Jenoptik Light and Production Mexico. Cardenas previously held positions at Automation & Modular Components, Plastic Omnium, Bosch, Daimler Trucks North America, and Kimberly-Clark.

SAN JOSE, Calif. — NeoPhotonics, a developer of silicon photonics and advanced hybrid photonic integrated circuit-based lasers, appointed Brad Wright senior vice president of global sales. Wright brings 25 years of experience in various positions, including director of sales at Intel Corp.

BRUSSELS — Umicore announced that An Steegen, CTO and member of the management board, will leave the company on Sept. 30 to become co-CEO of Barco, a technology company also listed in Belgium.
