MUNICH — Benno Oderkerk was appointed as a member of the supervisory board of AMS Technologies, a distributor of high-tech components and systems that includes those used in optoelectronics and thermal management. Oderkerk founded the Dutch spectroscopy company Avantes in 1994 and served as its CEO until 2020. He serves as president of the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC).

BURLINGTON, Ontario — Xiris Automation hired Lyle Moroz as vice president of sales. He will be responsible for all sales of Xiris weld cameras and inspection systems globally.

CORNING, N.Y. — Corning appointed Pamela Craig, former CFO of Accenture, to its board of directors. Craig will serve on the board’s Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Committee as well as its Audit Committee. She will hold office until Corning’s annual meeting of shareholders in the spring of 2022 at which time she will stand for election to a one-year term. Her appointment brings the number of Corning directors to 15. Craig also serves on the board of directors at 3M Company, The Progressive Corp., and Merck & Co. Inc.
