Optical Switch Obtains Holographic Lithography Systems

RICHARDSON, Texas, July 14 -- Optical Switch Corp., designer and manufacturer of high-tech optical switch components, has acquired Holographic Lithography Systems Inc. of Bedford Mass. Holographic Lithography Systems manufactures tools that use lasers to produce repetitive sublithography patterns on substrates such as glass. These tools have applications for fiber optic telecommunication networks, computer disk drives, biomedical equipment and products, flat panel displays and the semiconductor industry.
