4D Technology Names GM

Test and measurement equipment manufacturer 4D Technology Corp. named Erik Novak general manager. He succeeds company co-founder and former CTO and President James Millerd, who is retiring.

Novak served as 4D’s director of business development for the past eight years. He has held positions at optical metrology companies WYJO (Wyant College of Optical Sciences), Veeco, and Bruker.

4D Technology Corp., whose product line of optical metrology equipment includes interferometers, polarimeters, and custom solutions, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Onto Innovation Inc.
