Rovco Shifts Executive Team as CEO Will Lead Spinoff Company

Rovco Ltd., a provider of underwater surveying technology including photogrammetry and point cloud imaging, announced a shift in focus within the company’s executive team. Simon Miller will take over as managing director, while newly appointed CFO and director Nick Boorman will lead the group alongside CEO Brian Allen, who is turning his attention to the development of a startup technology company Vaarst, which will focus on the industrial robotics sector.

Miller previously served as general manager at the company’s operation base in Edinburgh and has more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Rovco’s current technological offerings rely on numerous technologies with applications in the industrial sector, as well 3D imaging and machine learning.
