Salvo Technologies Acquires Spectrecology

Salvo Technologies, a technology-based holding company, has acquired Spectrecology, a distributor of spectrometers and imaging and sensing products. The acquisition bolsters Salvo Technologies’ manufacturing base, adding complementary solutions for the educational and environmental markets.

Salvo acquired Arrow Thin Films on Jan. 12.

With the Spectrecology acquisition finalized, Salvo Technologies will continue to notify customers and suppliers of the news. There will be no change in service or supply in the near term, a press release from Salvo Technologies said. In the future, the company “will look at consolidating operations to increase efficiency,” the press release stated.
