Cepton Names VP of Finance and Strategy

Lidar solutions developer Cepton named Hull Xu vice president of finance and strategy, filling a newly created role. Xu will oversee financial reporting and planning, capital raising, investor relations, and corporate development activities. He joins Cepton from Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), where he led the automotive technology and semiconductor investment banking coverage, and advised technology companies on equity and debt capital raise as well as mergers and acquisitions. Xu has served as vice president at Barclays Capital, covering global electronics clients across the semiconductor design, manufacturing, and capital equipment industries.
