LS Laser Systems and EPP Merge

Photonics Systems Group announced the merger of two companies, LS Laser Systems and EPP Electronic Production Partners. The companies are operating under the name L-TRIS and have a combined expertise of more than 25 years in laser technology, specifically in laser trimming for electronics and semiconductor markets.

EPP Electronic Production Partners joined the Photonics Systems Group in November 2019, following the earlier acquisition of LS Laser Systems in January 2019. The long-term goal, as stated in a press release from Photonics Systems Group, is to position L-TRIS as a world-leading manufacturer of laser systems for trimming circuits and wafers.

As the final step in the consolidation process, all group companies will move to a newly built facility in Krailling, Germany, in the fall of 2021.
