SPI Lasers Rebrands Under TRUMPF Umbrella

TRUMPF has completed the renaming and merger of SPI Lasers, its wholly owned fiber laser manufacturing subsidiary. SPI has been a TRUMPF subsidiary since 2008. The Southampton, England-based company will now operate under the name TRUMPF Laser UK Ltd. In addition, SPI USA and SPI Korea have merged with TRUMPF USA and TRUMPF Korea, respectively.

TRUMPF merged the SPI subsidiary in China with TRUMPF China in April. Since July 1, SPI Lasers products have been available through TRUMPF sales channels.
