MATRIX VISION Opens Hamburg Site

Machine vision components and systems provider MATRIX VISION GmbH opened a development site in Hamburg. The company, in a press release, said the new site stemmed from the company’s recent addition of a team of five developers, each from the greater Hamburg area.

The company introduces its new facility, its second in Germany, two weeks after announcing that partial company founder and current technical managing director Uwe Furtner will move into a new coaching and management consulting position starting in 2021. MATRIX VISION named Uwe Hagmaier its new division manager of research and development. Ralf Grasmann takes on the role of site manager.
