Dover Acquires Solaris Laser SA

Dover Corp. has acquired Solaris Laser SA, the Warsaw, Poland-based supplier of laser coding and marking systems. Solaris Laser joins the Markem-Imaje business unit, a global manufacturer of product identification and traceability systems. Markem-Imaje is part of Dover’s Imaging and Identification segment.

The acquisition increases Markem-Imaje’s ability to meet demand for laser coding technologies. Solaris develops fiber, UV, and CO₂ laser systems for coding in industrial and packaging applications.

Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
