Applied Photophysics, Fluorescence Innovations Team Up on Protein Stability
Applied Photophysics and Fluorescence Innovations have entered into a joint venture agreement to develop and produce protein stability systems for research and industry.
The companies will be equal partners in the new venture, which will be autonomous and independent, as the two firms will continue to compete in all other business areas. They anticipate that joining forces on the project will lower development costs and bring forward a viable technology centered around a chemical melt protein stability system.
The companies will leverage their specific expertise, with Fluorescence Innovations handling the development of the technology and Applied Photophysics offering streamlined sales and manufacturing to produce the system.
