JonDeTech Appoints Lindeberg CEO, Succeeding Borg

Swedish nanotechnology and IR sensor manufacturer JonDeTech appointed Per Lindeberg CEO, succeeding interm CEO and present COO, Leif Borg. Borg stepped into the interim role after Robert Ekström left the company for another job.

Prior to joining JonDeTech, Lindeberg spent 11 years as the founder and senior advisor for Memberson, the maker of marketing automation and shopper response systems for merchants and retailers. Before that, he was the owner of the management consulting firm Maximize Consulting for 15 years.

It has been one year since JonDeTech was listed on the Nasdaq First North in Stockholm, and Lindeberg said the connected world continues to expand as “sensors are increasingly used to gather and react to information.”

JonDeTech manufactures sensors with 0.2 mm thickness, which allows the sensors to be integrated into many products, primarily those with applications in consumer electronics and the Internet of Things.

The company’s IR sensor, Lindeberg said, is based on nanotechnology and can be integrated into a variety of applications. The sensor’s small size makes it ideal for use in fireproof wall chargers, smart clothes that measure body temperature, smart room regulation, movement detection, and smart patches, among other products.

According to Lindeberg, JonDeTech is positioned to reach its goal of planned commercialization and high-volume production because the company has moved some of the manufacturing process to external partners and made investments in additional production equipment in Stockholm.
