Egide Appoints Delmas Deputy CEO
Eric Delmas is now helping to lead Egide SA as its deputy CEO in addition to his current duties as the company’s business unit general manager.
Company officials said Delmas will build upon Egide’s cultural shift initiated a year ago, as well as operational improvements that were instituted, giving him the power to strengthen management and accelerate development.
Delmas holds an MBA and an engineering degree in robotics, artificial intelligence, and image and voice recognition. He began his career in 1994 as a marketing engineer for discrete semiconductor components at Motorola in Toulouse, France.
In 1999, he joined Texas Instruments, first in Nice as GSM/GPRS/EDGE Chipset business development manager for the 2.5G cellphone market, and then in 2005 as director for 3G Japan business development and marketing in Tokyo.
Delmas was also a business development director in Munich in 2007, and from that position moved on to become systems and marketing director for ASSPs in 2009 before being appointed in 2011 as general manager in the battery management division in Dallas.
