Legrand, Lumileds Enter Partnership
Legrand and Lumileds have announced a partnership agreement to bring a plug-and-play, tunable, white light to market.
Under this agreement, Lumileds will provide its Luxeon-based intelligent light sources through its Matrix Platform. The devices are programmed to work with Legrand’s Wattstopper Blanco tunable white logic modules within the Wattstopper Digital Lighting Management (DLM) lighting controls solution. Lumileds joins existing Legrand partnerships in the tunable white light engine as the exclusive LED array provider.
The partnership, combining expertise in LED light sources, drivers, and controls, along with the Blanco intellectual property from Lumenetix, aims to develop market-ready solutions for a range of tunable white applications across the commercial, health care, hospitality, and education market segments.
Legrand is a provider of electrical and digital building infrastructures. Lumileds is a provider of lighting solutions for automotive, mobile, Internet of Things, and illumination companies.
