MILabs Imaging System Wins Commercial Innovation Award
The VECTor6 system with broadband photon tomography from MILabs BV has received the Commercial Innovation Award at the World Molecular Imaging Congress.
The VECTor6 system features four imaging modalities in a single system to deliver cost-effective, high-definition molecular, functional, and anatomical imagers to researchers worldwide. It advances positron emission tomography (PET) imaging by increasing resolution down to 0.55 mm for 18 F and by eliminating positron range effects for PET isotopes such as 124 I and 82 Rb. Moreover, the system can image multiple PET isotopes simultaneously and obtain both spatial and temporal co-registered PET/single-photon emission computerized tomography and PET/radiotherapy images including those of all alpha- and beta-isotopes used in theranostics.
High-quality in vivo optical and x-ray computerized tomography modalities further complement this innovative 1 eV to 1 MeV broadband photon tomography system.
MILabs develops multimodality imaging solutions used for the development of new diagnostic solutions and therapies for diseases such as diabetes, cancer, cardiac, and neurodegenerative diseases.
