Novanta's Celera Motion Acquires Sensor Developer Zettlex

Motion control technology provider Novanta Inc. has acquired Zettlex, a provider of inductive position sensing technology for OEM, industrial, and medical markets.

Zettlex designs and produces sensors and encoders to measure position or speed accurately and reliably in a wide range of operating conditions. Today, Zettlex’s products are used in precision motion control systems for advanced industrial and medical markets and in applications including autonomous vehicles, industrial and medical robotics, aerospace and defense, laboratory and diagnostics, imaging and scanning systems, and oil and gas.

Zettlex will operate as part of Novanta's Celera Motion business.
