Jensen to Succeed Ristau at LZH
Research institute Laser Zentrum Hannover eV (LZH) has appointed Detlev Ristau to its Scientific Directorate, with Lars Jensen moving to lead its laser components department.
Ristau has led the laser components department at LZH since 1992. In addition to his work on the Scientific Directorate, Ristau will be responsible for the future development and orientation of the Hannover Institute of Technology at the Leibniz Universität Hannover.
Jensen has been in the department since 2005, has been the head of the characterization group since 2011, and became the head of the coatings group in 2016.
LZH is a nonprofit, independent research institute that focuses on optical components and systems.
