FlyPulse Partners With FlytBase on Defibrillator Transport Drones
FlyPulse, an emergency drone developer, has partnered with FlytBase, a provider of drone software development platforms, to power its network of defibrillator transport drones.
LifeDrone AED is a transportation drone equipped with an automated external debrillator (AED), a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias and treats people through defibrillation — the application of electrical therapy.
“FlyPulse develops, sells and provides services with LifeDrone AED to medical and rescue service providers,” said Sebastian Wallman, co-founder and CEO of FlyPulse. “Our system can improve the survival rate for people with cardiac arrest, where it is difficult to arrive with an AED in time with ambulances or other transportation.”
FlytBase’s FlytOS operating system is compatible with the widest range of drones and computer hardware platforms. This enables developers to make their applications agnostic to hardware. It provides a number of other capabilities such as navigation and control, computer vision, payload management, authentication and security, machine learning, simulator for testing, and SDKs for web and mobile. FlytBase Cloud extends a number of these capabilities to the cloud and helps developers manage large fleets of drones, connect over wifi/4G network, and easily integrate drones with other business applications.
“FlytBase provides all the critical building blocks to assist in quick assembly of complex drone applications,” said Nitin Gupta, CEO of FlytBase. “We look forward to working closely with the FlyPulse team to help them build a successful professional product in the shortest possible time.”
