Ogasawara Appointed Managing Director of Instrument Systems
Tsutomu Ogasawara has succeeded Taro Sasada as managing director of turnkey solutions manufacturer Instrument Systems GmbH.
“Taro Sasada has created a strong bond between Konica Minolta and Instrument System,” Ogasawara said. “I would like to further expand this cooperation and contribute to the success of Instrument Systems.”
Along with CEO Markus Ehbrecht, Ogasawara forms the new management team. Since 2012, Ogasawara has been responsible for the launch of Instrument Systems products on the Japanese market on the part of Konica Minolta. The 47-year-old chemist brings over 25 years of experience in various sales-oriented functions at Konica Minolta in Japan and Germany.
“My sincere thanks go to Taro Sasada, who showed great commitment to Instrument Systems as a member of the wider group in several extraordinary growth phases,” Ehbrecht said. “At the same time we look forward to working together with Tsutomu Ogasawara in tackling the challenges of the coming years.”
Instrument Systems develops, manufactures and markets turnkey solutions for light measurement with scanning and array spectrometers, as well as imaging photometers and colorimeters.
