ETOP 2017 Seeking Abstracts

ETOP-2017, the 14th International Conference on Education and Training in Optics and Photonics, will be held May 29 through 31 in Hangzhou, China, at Zhejiang University.

ETOP 2017 is seeking abstracts in curriculum development; new pedagogical methods, tools and models; laboratories; education and training for multidisciplinary education; training programs for senior undergraduates; digital and internet technology; education for industry; international exchange and cooperation; assessment and evaluation of education. The abstract deadline is Nov. 1.

The conference aims to bring together leading optics and photonics educators from all levels and orientations to discuss, demonstrate and learn about new developments and approaches to teaching. Through presentations, panel discussions, workshops and exhibits, it is the intent of this conference to inform professors, students, teachers and professional trainers on how to teach optics and photonics for the future. Both oral and poster presentations will be included in the conference program.
