Framos Appointed e2v EMEA Distributor

e2v has appointed Framos GmbH its distributor for high-performance CMOS image sensors across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

e2v’s entire CMOS image sensor portfolio, including the Jade, Sapphire, Ruby and Onyx sensor families, will now be available through Framos. The e2v sensors operate from the near-infrared to near-ultraviolet. Framos said the agreement will strengthen its portfolio for global machine vision and special applications markets while enabling local support and services.

e2v’s CMOS, CCD and electron multiplying image sensors, line scan cameras, camera modules and subsystems are designed for the automation, health-care, communications, safety and environment fields.

Framos is an industrial image processing technology provider, offering sensors, cameras and image processing components as well as development support services and complete solutions.
