Horiba Launches Free Raman Educational Site
Horiba Scientific has launched the RamanAcademy website, a free educational tool for new and experienced Raman users.
“We decided to provide RamanAcademy as a free offering to experienced Raman users, as well as novices, to support the Raman spectroscopy community,” said Li Yan, director of Raman at Horiba. “We firmly believe that someone can be good at Raman, or, with access to a variety of tools, they can excel at it.”
The four site areas include an introduction to the theory of Raman, Raman scattering, stokes, antistokes, SERS, lasers and microscopes; step-by-step instructions for Raman imaging, Raman mapping, particle analysis, and multilayer polymer film analyses; frequently asked questions; and webinars and educational videos.
RamanAcademy can be found at
www.ramanacademy.com.
Horiba is a provider of instruments and systems for applications ranging from environmental monitoring to semiconductor manufacturing.
