RVSI Wins Order for Semiconductor Assembly Equipment

CANTON, Mass., Mar. 9 -- Robotic Vision Systems Inc.'s (RVSI) Vanguard Automation division has received an order valued at $1.3 million from a European subcontract chip manufacturer for chip assembly equipment systems. The order is for RVSI's complete ball attach line for use in ball grid array integrated circuit fabrication lines.
