Veeco Revenues Increase in FY2015
Process equipment developer Veeco Instruments Inc. has announced a 2015 revenue increase of 21 percent to $477 million from to 2014’s $393.9 million.
“Fourth quarter bookings doubled sequentially to $107 million, bolstered by record-level orders for our precision surface processing (PSP) products,” said John R. Peeler, chairman and CEO. “PSP has enabled us to significantly expand our footprint in the radio frequency and microelectromechanical markets and also gain entry into the high growth advanced packaging space.”
Veeco's process equipment enables the manufacture of LEDs, displays, power electronics, compound semiconductors, hard disk drives, semiconductors, microelectromechnical and wireless chips.
