Idex Expands Optics, Fluidics Product Portfolio

Moving towards its goal of becoming an intelligent technology company, fluidic and optic developer Idex Health & Science LLC said it has expanded its portfolio of fluidic, microfluidic and optical components.

The expanded portfolio is driven by the recent integration of Semrock and Melles Griot, both from the recently restructured optics and photonics platform of Idex Corp., in addition to the acquisition of Cidra Precision Services in July.

The product lines of all three companies — including filters, lenses, shutters, laser sources, light engines, integrated optical assemblies and microfluidics components — are complementary to the existing Idex Health & Science fluidics line, the company said.
