Mauna Kea Appoints Joseph DeVivo Director

Joseph M. DeVivo, president and CEO of AngioDynamics Inc., will join the five-member board of directors of Mauna Kea Technologies SA as an independent nonexecutive director.

DeVivo has 20 years of experience as a medical device executive with expertise in the surgical market. He began his career with U.S. Surgical Corp. in sales, marketing and R&D positions, and later served as president of Computer Motion Inc. He was also formerly president and CEO of RITA Medical Systems; global president of Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics; and, in 2011, was named president and CEO at AngioDynamics.

DeVivo also sits on the board of the Advanced Medical Technology Association and chairs the board of SurgicQuest Inc.
