Robert Rosenthal Joins Bruker Board

Bruker Corp. has appointed Dr. Robert Rosenthal to its board of directors.

Rosenthal is CEO and director of Taconic Biosciences Inc. in Hudson, N.Y., a provider of research models for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Prior to joining Taconic, Rosenthal held a variety of senior management positions with diagnostic, therapeutic, medical and life sciences companies, most recently as chairman and CEO at Intelligent Medical Implants AG.

He also was president and CEO of Magellan Biosciences Inc. and held other senior management positions at PerkinElmer Inc. and Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.

"I believe there are many opportunities to apply Bruker's analytical technologies to new applications and diagnostic areas," Rosenthal said.
