Perceptron Supplies 3-D Measurement Equipment to Chinese Automakers

Perceptron Inc. has been chosen by Chinese automakers Great Wall Motors Co. and Qoros Auto Co. to provide laser-based 3-D in-line measurement equipment for quality control and cost containment.

Great Wall Motors, of Baoding City, manufactures SUVs and pickup trucks; Qoros, of Shanghai, produces SUVs, hatchbacks and sedans.

Perceptron develops noncontact 3-D machine vision solutions for measurement, inspection and robot guidance in industrial applications.
