Coherent Medical, Mass. General HospitalSign Research Pact

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Mar. 1 -- Coherent Inc. reported that its Medical Group has signed a multi-year research agreement with Massachusetts General Hospital to develop advanced photomedicine technologies and applications. The research will be performed at the Wellman Laboratories under the guidance of R. Rox Anderson, Wellman's research director and an authority on laser-tissue interactions and photonics.
