Optoscribe Expanding into New Facility

Heriot-Watt University spinout Optoscribe Ltd., a global supplier of 3-D waveguide technology for optical communications, has announced plans to move to a larger facility.

“The expansion is a necessary and major step for the company,” said CEO Nick Psaila. “The move will allow us to increase our production capacity as we continue to develop new products.”

Formerly based at the Alba Innovation Centre, the new plant features a cleanroom and additional office space, as well as room for further expansion.
