Hamamatsu Factory in Beijing Completed

Construction of Building No. 2 at Hamamatsu Photonics KK’s Beijing subsidiary is now complete. Operations at the new facility, located at the Langfang factory, are scheduled to begin in February.

The new building at Hamamatsu Photon Techniques Inc. will be used for glass processing and scintillator manufacturing. It also will be used for the manufacturing of nonphotomultiplier tube products. The new facility allows for expansion of manufacturing capacity as well as research and development activities, and will also improve the manufacturing capacity of two other existing factories at Beijing, including the Yongqing facility.
