Kirschner Joins REO Management Team

Roger Kirschner has joined REO as business development manager, the precision optics manufacturer said Wednesday.

Most recently, Kirschner served as business development director at Optikos Corp. He has more than 30 years of experience in the photonics industry, having begun his career as an engineer at Honeywell in 1980, then having held various sales and management positions at companies such as Balzers and Lambda Physik.

He received his Bachelor of Science in optical engineering from the University of Rochester and his Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University.

“REO produces high-performance optics for a variety of technically demanding applications,” said REO CEO and president Paul Kelly. “Roger’s combination of technical knowledge and marketing expertise make him especially well-suited to help us identify and develop new opportunities that match our company’s unique capabilities.”
